One Voice, One Hope

A national collaborative for suicide prevention in the UK.

Information about One Voice, One Hope (OVOH) is being hosted by The Jordan Legacy until a standalone website is launched during Q1 2026.

The vision for OVOH is bold but simple: to ignite a movement that will help bring down the number of lives lost to suicide in the UK in a way that truly shifts the tide.

For expressions of interest, please view the section at the end of this site page.

One Voice, One Hope is a movement for change, driven by grassroots and third sector charities, CIC’s etc, whilst welcoming all those in the public and healthcare sector who are willing and able to collaborate toward achieving a society that finally is able to prevent all preventable suicides.

One Voice, One Hope envisions a national collaborative network uniting organisations, sectors, and individuals to address suicide prevention collectively. The initiative’s goals include fostering inclusion, amplifying the reach of suicide prevention projects, and creating systemic change.

Specific Aims of One Voice One Hope

This initiative has two primary aims:

  1. Create a national “Good Practice Hub” (details here) to receive and promote examples of good practice in suicide prevention, particularly collaborative initiatives/projects.
  2. Starting with a series of pilot groups, develop “Collaborative Action Groups” (CAG’s), formerly known as “Individual Collaborative Network Groups” (ICNG’s), bringing together individuals and organisations, who operate in the same area of suicide prevention e.g. education, workplaces, healthcare, digital and online safety etc, and provide a framework to enable them to work together collaboratively, sharing knowledge, experiences and resources to generate on-the-ground activities/campaigns for measurable change.

Current Progress

Date: January 2026:

Since early 2025, a core group of suicide prevention advocates have been meeting regularly to collaborate on the development of the following strategic activities:

  1. A new logo: we now have a brand identify, a symbol everyone involved with One Voice, One Hope can rally around and one we hope captures the essence of hope and collaboration in the suicide prevention space. The vibrant orange color radiates warmth and positivity, signaling encouragement and support, whilst the speaker icon represents the power of our collective voices.
  2. The creation and implementation of a Collaborative Action Group for Education. This group is exploring how to reduce deaths by suicide of educators and students across all levels of education. The group is also exploring how to support schools to prepare for the mandatory introduction, by September 2026, of suicide prevention training in all schools across the UK.
  3. The creation and implementation of a Collaborative Action Group to explore how a consistent and standardised approach can be introduced nationally to provide suicide prevention and postvention training to GPs and Primary Care staff, including guidance around the use of Prescription Safe Plans.
  4. The development of a framework, protocol and process for collating and reviewing evidence of ‘good practice’ in suicide prevention to be held on a national, central online resource hub (“Good Practice Hub”). For specific information about developments with the Hub, please visit this page.
  5. In January, an online presentation; “The Purpose of Education” was hosted by OVOH and more than 80 stakeholders from educational settings and those with an interest in suicide prevention in education attended 2 separate showings.

A recording of the webinar can be viewed here below:

The development of each of these activities is now well underway and early in 2026, we will be announcing the introduction of a number of new Collaborative Action Groups.

Partnerships

On World Mental Health Day (October 10th) 2025, The Jordan Legacy was announced as an Innovation Partner to work alongside The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales as they announced the launch of a “New Suicide Prevention Network” (NSPN).

One Voice, One Hope will integrate and collaborate with the National Suicide Prevention Network and amplify work already being done by organisations like the National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) and a number of other important campaigning organisations like The Baton of Hope UK and support infrastructure like the Hub of Hope, which has been chosen by the Network as the UK’s largest mental health support directory, which has joined as a founding Network partner for the Foundation’s NSPN.

Backed by over £1 million in funding from The Royal Foundation, over an initial three-year period, the National Suicide Prevention Network aims to deliver lasting change in how suicide is understood and prevented across the four nations. It will improve universal pathways for suicide prevention to ensure that they are evidence-based, effective and accessible to all.

Through One Voice, One Hope, The Jordan Legacy, together with The Royal Foundation aims to create a movement and a framework to achieve something that hasn’t been done at scale previously; a truly collaborative and supportive network to prevent suicides across all 4 nations in the UK.
