Since 2020, we have worked with the UK government and organisations and workplaces in the UK and overseas to raise awareness about issues relating to mental health and suicide, as well facilitating practical actions for change, through our talks, panel discussion events and working partnerships with companies, organisations and groups.
We also engage directly with charities and individuals, such as Papyrus, Mind, Samaritans, the 3 Dads Walking and others who all want to see us moving toward a society where suicides are rare events. Our founder, Steve Phillip, has also featured in interviews on BBC Breakfast News and the Sunday Times Magazine.
The Jordan Legacy is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) and relies solely on financial donations, from companies and individuals, all of whom want to support our efforts to help reduce the number of suicides. Without these donations, we would be unable to continue our work.
Can you help support any of the following initiatives?:
Hope for Life UK) Conference 2023
Support this initiative for a minimum of £1500
On December 1st 2023, The Jordan Legacy will host its second Hope for Life (UK) Conference at the Yorkshire Events Centre in Harrogate. Our first conference, in 2021, was attended, physically, by more than 130 people and broadcast live to LinkedIn and Facebook audiences. The event received much praise for its organisation and breadth of inspiring speakers, theatrical and musical performances.
You can make a financial donation to support this project and in return your organisation will feature on all event promotions, including our website, Eventbrite and social media pages. Your organisation will also feature, in various ways, throughout the conference itself.
More information about this project can be found here.
Jordan’s Space – our radio show
Support this initiative from £3000
Launched in 2022, Jordan’s Space is 60-minute online radio show, broadcast fortnightly and globally on Yowah Radio. Recordings of each show are promoted via online streaming websites, including MixCloud and Podbean, where a number of guest interviews have ranked in the Global Top 10 for #talk broadcasts.
A recording of each show is then featured on our own website, so it can be listened to whenever you have the the time. Our shows feature an interview with a new guest each week who will share their own unique experience of suicide and a choice of music which has a personal meaning to them.
Each show takes several hours to research and prepare for guests interviews, recording of conversations and then editing prior to broadcast.
You can make a financial donation to support this project for a period of 6 months and in return, your organisation will be mentioned twice during each show’s broadcast and via our website and our social media platforms.

Our Suicide Prevention Action-Research Project
Total support needed for 2023 is £38,000
At the beginning of 2023, The Jordan Legacy launched a new strategy designed to raise the bar in terms of collective ambition in suicide prevention and to plot a course of collective practical action that can realise that ambition.
On July 11th 2023, we published an initial report, the first in a series from The Jordan Legacy summarising what is emerging from our action research project, as well as our wider, ongoing action learning initiatives, focusing on how we can reduce the number of suicides in the UK and how far we can go.
We have invested £8000 of existing funds into this project and are now looking for 6 companies who would be willing to donate £5000 each or 10 who could donate £2500 each to support the continued development of this action-research project.
In return for your support, your organisation will be highlighted in our ongoing action-research report, on our website, via our social media and at our events.
The Jordan Legacy is a not-for-profit business with purpose. We are a registered (Registered No. 12784768) Community Interest Company (CIC). All income received goes toward our mission of seeking ways of better supporting those who are feeling a sense of entrapment and hopelessness and, specifically, to reduce the number of lives being lost to suicide.
