Between April and May 2026, the incredible Dave Bock undertook 3 marathons – Manchester, Rob Burrows and Edinburgh – to support our mission to move towards a zero suicide society, raising £2,536.50!

Steve was delighted to meet with Dave just a few weeks after his challenge, who presented him with the cheque in the local pub in Kirk Deighton, North Yorkshire – a village which holds a special place in our hearts at The Jordan Legacy as it is where we first got to meet two families who had both lost their children – Ethan and Robyn – to suicide within weeks of each other in 2023.

In 2024, Dave completed a fundraising challenge for the mental health charity Mind in memory of Ethan and in the same year Ethan’s family arranged for the proceeds from sales of the village’s popular festive calendar, sold at the Kirk Deighton Christmas lights switch-on, to be donated to The Jordan Legacy in support of our suicide prevention work.
