Cheers to Harrogate Round Table Beer Festival for their support

Since its inception, the Harrogate Round Table Charity Beer Festival has raised over £500,000 for local good causes.

For 2025, The Jordan Legacy was proud to be nominated by the festival to receive support, alongside two other charities, Samaritans and Martin House Children’s Hospice.

The beer festival took place on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th March. On the Friday afternoon, Steve set up our stall at the Crown Hotel in Harrogate, proudly wearing his The Jordan Legacy hoodie, where he spoke to a number of people during the day about the importance of raising awareness to break down the stigma surrounding suicide and mental ill-health.

More than 1300 local companies had purchased tickets to attend the festival’s networking afternoon, helping, once again to raise a significant amount of money for the 3 charitable organisations, including ourselves.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to Harrogate Round Table Charity Beer Festival and to organiser Gary Thompson, featured with Steve in this photo, for their generous support, which resulted in The Jordan Legacy receiving a cheque for £6500. This money will be put to extremely good use, helping us to continue our mission to do all we can to prevent all preventable suicides.
